| Bella Misty Fishing Charters is owned and operated by Captain Clayton Moore. He carries a USCG 100 ton Masters Near Coastal license and is a registered fishing guide with the Alaska Department of Fish and Game. He is a member of the International Game Fish Association and is an officially designated IGFA Captain. Captain Moore is a seasoned offshore angler and has fish the world from the African Coast and Central America to the Gulf of Mexico and the beautiful waters of Alaska. He has fished both freshwater and saltwater, targeting bottom fish as well as pelagic species using trolling, live baiting, downrigging, and jigging techniques. All of these skills are used at different times to help you catch fish. He is admittedly a fin’addict, a fish nut, and has been afflicted with Mono-filament fever his entire life. He first experienced the Great Land of Alaska when he was fifteen and hasn’t been able to stay away since. “Sometimes the difficulty of keeping it all together, making it run and worrying over bad fishing politics makes me wonder why I chose this profession. But all it takes is getting out on the water to realize that I didn’t choose it at all, it chose me. It’s worth every bit of it, there is absolutely nothing that compares to fishing the deep cold waters of Alaska.” For the past nine years, Captain Moore has been guiding anglers in the waters of Southeast Alaska around Ketchikan and invites all fisherman, families and groups to come up and experience fully guided sportfishing at it’s best. |    |
